You’re on the job search. You’ve Googled jobs you might be interested in; you’ve looked on the job boards; you’ve put in several applications with no word back; your anxiety is rising.
Every time you find a job that interests you, you have to fill out yet another application, filling in the exact same information, spending time that could be utterly wasted.

The search for a job that fits your needs is exhausting, and we all know it. But it doesn’t have to be. That’s where staffing agencies come in.
A staffing agency is a go-between for employees and companies. Staffing agencies make connections with employers in the area, learning about their job openings as they come, and finding people who are the right fit for their company.
Here are some things to consider when looking for the right staffing agency for you:
1. What kind of staffing do they specialize in?
Staffing agencies usually specialize in a particular area: warehouse jobs, clerical/office jobs, skilled trades like welding or electrical, or professional positions, like marketing or accounting. So you’ll need to select a staffing agency that fits what you’re searching for.
At KP Staffing, our primary focus is on warehouse and light industrial positions, but we also staff for some administrative and clerical positions. If you’re looking for warehouse work or administrative work, give us a call or quick-apply to get started today!
2. What’s their pay schedule?
If you have bills to pay ASAP and don’t want to wait two weeks between paychecks, it’s a good idea to check the pay schedule with the staffing agency you want to partner with.
At KP Staffing, we pay weekly, so you won’t have to wait two weeks between paychecks!

3. What’s their background policy?
Some staffing agencies won’t hire anyone with a criminal background; others have only background-friendly positions. If you have a criminal record, checking their background policy ahead of time can save you some time.
Here at KP Staffing, we understand that people make mistakes. We’ll do our best to find a job that works with your background; some of the companies we work with are more background-friendly than others. So we’ll talk honestly with you about your options with us.
4. Do they hire for temporary or permanent assignments?
Are you looking for a career that will last? Or are you looking for a summer job while your seasonal job has hit a low season? Your goals are important. Take a look at whether the company you’re considering fills for daily assignments, temporary assignments that last a few weeks, or permanent positions.
At KP Staffing, most of our positions are temp-to-permanent positions. You’ll work through us for three months before the company has the option to hire you on as a permanent employee.
But we have some temporary assignments too, so if you just need something short-term, contact the KP location closest to you to see what temporary assignments are available now!
We have connections with warehouses all around the metroplex, so if you’re looking for a job, we know where they are. We can help you narrow down the search and find a job that’s a perfect fit for you. Our recruiters are dedicated to finding the right job for you.
