Job Summary
The assembler will safely assemble equipment by following detailed instructions and using mechanical and manual tools to produce components and subassemblies for trucks.
Pay
$17-$19 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 6 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday
Duties
- Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques
- Drill holes for wires, hoses, and small parts
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Install various truck accessories including latches, lights, and reflectors
- Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 65 lbs
- Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands
- Follow verbal and written work instructions
- Maintain attention to detail to adhere to quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing or general labor industry
- 1+ year of experience in an assembly or mechanical occupation preferred
- Basic hand tools and rolling tool box/cart required
- Mechanical experience on cars
