CDL Truck Driver (1st Shift)
KP Staffing is now hiring CDL Truck Drivers in Rhome, Texas!
Job Summary
The CDL truck driver will complete local and regional deliveries of materials and products. This position is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading materials while maintaining accurate delivery documentation and complying with all company, state, and federal transportation requirements.
Pay
$23.50 – $24.75 per hour
Shift
1st Shift
Monday – Friday
Occasional Saturdays
Home daily with occasional overnight travel 1–2 times per month
Duties
- Load, drive, and unload delivery trucks
- Complete local and regional commercial deliveries
- Receive, ship, and stock materials and products
- Properly secure cargo for transportation
- Obtain required receipts and signatures for delivered materials and products
- Maintain accurate daily driver logs
- Verify delivery instructions and routes
- Report equipment defects, damage, accidents, and traffic violations
- Follow all state, federal, DOT, and company regulations
- Assist with manufacturing plant duties during downtime as assigned
- Follow all required safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required
- Good driving record required
- Minimum 24 months of commercial driving experience
- 3–5 years of experience delivering manufacturing materials and products preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old
- No DUI convictions within the last 2 years
- No more than 1 preventable accident within the last 12 months
- No more than 3 moving violations within a 3-year period
- Must be able to pass required criminal background check and drug screening
- Must be able to pass DOT physical, audiogram, and vision testing
- Attention to detail, dependability, and commitment to safety
