Computer Repair Technician

Job Summary
The computer repair technician will diagnose, repair, and refurbish desktop and laptop computers in a fast-paced production environment. This role includes replacing defective hardware components, installing software, and ensuring repaired devices meet quality and productivity standards.
Pay
$16 – $17 per hour

Multiple shifts available
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop computers
- Disassemble and reassemble computer systems and components
- Replace hardware such as LCD screens, hard drives, memory, and other parts
- Install or reinstall operating systems and software as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues within production timelines
- Follow repair procedures and document completed work
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
- Assist with other technical tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of computer repair experience preferred
- Experience working with desktops, laptops, and major computer brands
- A+ certification (or working toward it) is a plus
- Tech school students encouraged to apply
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Motivated to meet quality and productivity goals
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Comfortable using small hand tools and performing repetitive hand movements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
