Job Summary
The electrical technician (industrial maintenance) will execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical electrical systems and equipment. This role helps minimize downtime and supports uninterrupted production.

$26.00 – $32 per hour

Duties
Execute preventive electrical maintenance work orders to prevent unexpected equipment failures
Perform corrective maintenance and repairs on critical electrical equipment to minimize production downtime
Execute improvement and safety-related electrical work orders to help prevent accidents during equipment operation
Troubleshoot electrical failures and restore equipment functionality efficiently
Recommend equipment lockout (LOTO) in case of electrical failures to ensure personnel safety
Propose electrical spare parts required to ensure proper equipment operation
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot power generators during power outages
Ensure electrical systems operate within defined parameters
Register and close work orders in the maintenance management system to document technical activities, spare parts usage, and equipment history
Report failures, interventions, and relevant findings to the electrical maintenance coordinator
Perform electrical maintenance tasks in compliance with safety procedures and regulations
Identify electrical hazards and assess risks prior to executing tasks
Comply with integrated management system requirements related to quality, environment, safety, occupational health, and BASC
Qualifications
Technical degree in industrial electrical maintenance, electrical technology, electromechanics, or a related electrical field
Equivalent hands-on industrial electrical maintenance experience will be considered
Proven experience in electrical maintenance within industrial or manufacturing plants
Experience in metallurgical, metal-mechanical, or heavy industrial environments preferred
Experience working with critical electrical systems and equipment
Knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance procedures
Knowledge of preventive and corrective electrical maintenance practices
Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
Knowledge of power generators and electrical distribution systems
Knowledge of basic electrical safety procedures including LOTO, confined spaces, and work at heights
Experience with maintenance management systems such as SAP or similar preferred
Ability to work under pressure and rotating shifts
Strong teamwork, assertive communication, proactivity, and safety mindset
