Embroidery Operator 2nd Shift
Job Summary
The embroidery operator will be responsible for operating multi-head embroidery machinery with a high level of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Pay
$19 per hour
Shift
2nd shift: 4 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
Duties
- Perform daily duties to ensure high-quality embroidery standards in accordance with company expectations
- Operate multi-head embroidery machines
- Set up and complete different types of embroidery jobs
- Process orders with attention to ticketing, hooping, threading, and adjustment of thread and bobbin tensions
- Make corrections to avoid product loss
- Follow detailed instructions from the supervisor or manager
- Stand for extended periods and move around the facility on foot
- Lift, pull, and carry objects up to 60 pounds repeatedly during the shift
- Operate small components of machinery accurately
- Meet department production expectations
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Participate in maintenance and cleaning of machines and work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 1 year of embroidery experience
- High attention to detail
- Strong ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to express issues and ask questions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical agility and stamina to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the day
