Job Summary
The gun loader assembly will perform standard assembly procedures using hand tools and equipment to assemble, repair, and store units according to required specifications. This role involves repetitive hand work, inventory tracking, basic machine maintenance support, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Pay
$16.50 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday – Friday
Duties
- Perform standard assembly procedures to load, repair, and store guns and equipment
- Use hand tools and equipment to assemble units per required specifications
- Inspect parts during assembly and identify faulty components
- Ensure products are functioning properly and meet quality standards
- Maintain paperwork or computer entries for inventory items
- Complete inventory counts and communicate results
- Learn preventative maintenance on machines using written instructions and checklists
- Maintain tools, shop, and equipment in good condition
- Keep the shop and work area clean and orderly
- Follow OSHA health and safety expectations
- Perform repetitive hand work including holding, crimping, pulling, twisting, and clamping
- Sit approximately 50% of the time
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Manual dexterity
- Good eyesight
- Good reading skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting ability
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work heavily with hands
- Ability to complete a physical assessment test before hire
- Background check required
