KP Staffing is now hiring Heat Seal Print Machine Operators in Grandview, MO!
Job Summary
The heat seal print machine operator will operate heat-sealing equipment, inspect and prepare garments, and help maintain product quality and safety standards throughout the production process.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st shift: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday
Duties
- Operate the heat seal printing machine from setup through completion of heat seal printing
- Inspect, count, fold, and prepare garments for the next step in processing
- Monitor the quality of seals and finished products and adjust as needed to maintain consistent quality
- Process and document orders following company policy
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members, including supervisors, quality control, and maintenance personnel, to support production processes
- Meet department production standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
- Stand, push, and pull throughout the entire shift
- Perform other assigned duties
- Meet and perform job duties with attention to safety guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a heat seal production role or similar manufacturing role is preferred
- Ability to be trained on heat seal machinery and the software used to run the machinery
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, machinery operations, and software instructions
- Ability to use general math
- Ability to follow strict machinery safety procedures
- Knowledge of heat-sealing equipment and processes is preferred
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to cross-train for various task responsibilities
- Physical ability and stamina for repetitive standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and stacking for the entire shift
- Ability to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
