Machine Operator
KP Staffing is hiring Machine Operators for a leading manufacturer of high-quality spools for wiring and cables in North Fort Worth.
The ideal candidate will operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring products meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role requires technical proficiency, mechanical aptitude, and experience in manufacturing environments. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient production processes and delivering high-quality products.
Shift and Pay:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday – Friday (Some Saturdays as needed)
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Thursday (Some Fridays as needed)
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday – Friday
- Pay Rate: $20.00/hr or DOE (Depending on Experience)
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery used to manufacture spools for wiring and cables
- Set up machines according to specifications and production requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and defects using precision measuring instruments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets
- Use hand tools and basic fabrication equipment as needed for minor adjustments
Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in machine operation or manufacturing preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse experience is a plus
