Machine Shop Associate 2nd Shift
KP Staffing Granbury is now hiring machine shop associates for 1st and 2nd shifts for a company that manufactures specialty tools/components in Weatherford, TX!
Job Summary
The machine shop associate will operate machines and power tools to produce components to specification in a manufacturing environment. This role also involves measuring materials accurately and maintaining general shop housekeeping.
Pay
$16.50-$17.50 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 6am-4:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday
2nd shift: 4 p.m. – 2:30 a.m., Monday – Thursday
Duties
- Operate machines in a manufacturing environment
- Safely work with power tools
- Measure and cut products to specifications
- Read tape measures and digital calipers
- Perform general shop housekeeping
- Complete repetitive work with attention to detail
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong math skills
- Ability to lift 60 pounds
- Ability to read a tape measure and caliper
- Ability to take feedback and grow from it
- Motivated and quick learner
- Tape measure test required
