KP Staffing Irving is now hiring motherboard repair technicians for a company in Grapevine, TX!

Job Summary

The motherboard repair technician will troubleshoot and repair computer motherboards at the component level by diagnosing issues, replacing parts, performing soldering, and testing boards to restore them to working condition.

Pay

$18 per hour

Duties

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot motherboard issues

  • Identify if boards are repairable before starting work

  • Repair and replace electronic components

  • Perform soldering and component-level repairs

  • Inspect for bad solder joints, bridges, or damaged pads

  • Clean and prepare boards after repair

  • Test boards before sending to the next stage

  • Follow repair instructions and safety procedures

  • Track parts used and keep work area organized

  • Meet daily production and quality goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; electronics education is a plus

  • 6+ months of repair or electronics experience preferred

  • Ability to use basic test tools such as a multimeter; oscilloscope experience is a plus

  • Basic Excel and computer skills

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently

  • Good attention to detail and teamwork skills

  • Ability to perform work in a warehouse environment, including standing

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as required for the role

  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements as required for the role

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels
