Job Summary
The picking & packing associate will accurately pick products from warehouse locations, prepare customer orders, and ensure items are packed and shipped correctly. This role requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Pay
$14.50 – $15.50 per hour
Shift
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and weekend shift
Duties
- Pick products from designated warehouse locations using an RF scanner or warehouse management system
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and order information for accuracy
- Pack customer orders according to company standards
- Inspect products for damage or defects before packing
- Label, seal, wrap, and palletize completed orders
- Sort and organize products and materials in designated areas
- Move completed orders to the appropriate shipping or staging area
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed
- Maintain accurate inventory by reporting shortages, overages, or damaged products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance goals
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, picking, packing, or distribution experience preferred
- RF scanner experience is a plus
- Ability to accurately read product numbers, labels, and order information
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
