KP Staffing is now hiring extrusion machine operators for a company that manufactures copper and alloy products in Humble, Texas!
Job Summary
The extrusion machine operator will operate extrusion equipment to manufacture copper and alloy products according to technical specifications, production schedules, and quality standards.
Pay
$18 to $19 per hour
Shift
1st, 2nd, 3rd shift
Duties
- Operate extrusion machinery following production instructions
- Inspect machines and auxiliary equipment before starting operations
- Perform machine setup and calibration based on product specifications
- Monitor critical parameters during the extrusion process
- Record production data in SAP or production systems
- Identify and report process deviations or equipment issues
- Support preventive maintenance activities
- Maintain safe and organized work areas following 5S practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months – 1 year operating industrial machinery preferred
- Basic knowledge of extrusion processes
- Overhead crane operation preferred
- Basic SAP or production reporting
- Attention to detail
- Safety awareness
- Teamwork
- Operational discipline
