KP Staffing North Houston is now hiring shop sandblasters for a company that manufactures oil and gas in Northwest Houston, TX!
Job Summary
The shop sandblaster will remove paint, rust, grease, and other built-up material from rough surfaces using specialized abrasive blasting equipment. This role also includes operating blast equipment and assisting with painting or coating as needed.
Pay
$18.00 – $22.00 per hour
Shift
1st shift: Monday – Saturday, 6 A.M. – 6 P.M.
Duties
- Remove dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
- Set up and operate a blast booth or similar equipment
- Load and unload the blast cabinet
- Assist with painting or coating as needed
- Apply and remove non-skid materials as needed
Qualifications
- Clean background required
- Ability to pass a drug screen and E-Verify
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 – 4 years of experience in sandblasting
