Ultrasonic Welding Inspector (1st Shift)
KP Staffing is now hiring an Ultrasonic Welding Inspector in Euless, Texas!
Job Summary
The ultrasonic welding inspector will support the QA/QC team by performing nondestructive testing and inspection of welded steel assemblies to ensure products meet required quality standards, engineering drawings, AWS requirements, and AISC specifications.

Duties
-
Perform ultrasonic and/or magnetic particle testing on welded steel assemblies

Inspect welds and fabricated products for compliance with applicable quality standards

Review shop drawings, welding symbols, and project specifications

Identify and document weld defects and other nonconforming conditions

Maintain accurate inspection and testing documentation

Work with QA/QC and production teams to address quality concerns
-
Verify work meets applicable AWS and AISC requirements

Support corrective actions and quality-control processes

Follow all required safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
-
Level II certification in UT or MT required, with supporting documentation

3–5 years of experience welding heavy steel assemblies, preferably with inspection experience

Ability to read and understand shop drawings and welding symbols

Knowledge of AWS and AISC standards

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Ability to work in a manufacturing/shop environment

Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

Must be able to pass required background check and drug screening
-
Must be able to complete required physical, audiogram, and vision testing
