Welder (Weekends Only)
KP Staffing is now hiring Welders in Haltom City, Texas!
Job Summary
The welder will fit, join, fabricate, and repair steel components using appropriate welding techniques according to product specifications and production requirements. This position works closely with production leadership to ensure finished products meet required specifications and quality standards. Consistently producing welds capable of passing ultrasonic inspection is critical.
Pay
$24.00 per hour
Retention Bonus
Eligible Welder new hires may earn up to $5,000 through a retention bonus program, subject to program requirements.
Shift
1st Shift: Friday – Sunday
5:00 A.M. – 3:30 P.M.
36 – 40 hours per week
Duties
- Fit, join, fabricate, and repair steel and other weldable materials
- Perform welding according to product specifications and production requirements
- Work with production leadership to ensure fabricated products meet job specifications
- Maintain weld quality capable of passing UT inspection
- Maintain required production levels
- Follow established safety and quality procedures
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
Qualifications
- 1+ year of welding experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Weekend availability required
- Ability to frequently lift and move up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and climb stairs or ladders
- Ability to wear required OSHA PPE and welding equipment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
