KP Staffing is now hiring welders (MIG/TIG/Stick) in Granbury and surrounding areas !
Job Summary
The welders (MIG/TIG/Stick) will perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols, and produce accurate welds while maintaining quality and productivity standards. This role also supports fabrication, material handling, and finishing operations in a safety-focused industrial environment.
Pay
Starting at $18 – $25 per hour, depending on experience and outcome of weld test
Shift
1st and 2nd shifts available
Duties
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Prepare, fit-up, and tack parts
- Operate grinders and other fabrication tools
- Follow shop safety rules and PPE requirements
- Maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with fabricators, inspectors, and supervisors to meet production schedules
- Assist with material handling, loading and unloading, and finishing operations as needed
Qualifications
- 1+ years welding experience in a production or shop environment
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG and/or Stick welding
- Ability to weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
- Familiarity with welding codes and standards
- Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
- Strong attention to quality and detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varied industrial environments
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
