KP Staffing was founded in 1977 with a single branch, located inside a house in Fort Worth off Airport Freeway. Jess Johnston had a vision: to become the #1 staffing agency in DFW. So he bought a 2,000 square foot house and renovated it (using the term “renovated” loosely - he knocked down a wall and placed a few desks in what was once the living room) for office use. He named his new business “Jess Temporaries.”
Since 1977, the business has changed names three times and passed through two more generations of his family.
KP Staffing is now 9 branches strong and counting. We pride ourselves in growing bigger as a company, but we are most proud of growing better at what we do.
