Job Summary
The EHS Manager will lead the implementation and maintenance of site-specific health and safety programs for a manufacturing facility. This role will oversee compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements while supporting risk mitigation and safety performance.
Pay
$95,000 – $150,000 per year

Duties
- Plan, design, and oversee company health and safety programs
- Manage health and safety systems in line with organizational plans, OSHA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead day-to-day health and safety activities to ensure risk mitigation and regulatory compliance
- Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, audits, and monitor safety performance
- Investigate incidents and accidents and ensure timely corrective and preventive action plans
- Provide guidance on OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Identify and recommend improvements to health and safety policies and processes
- Maintain and enhance risk-assessment mechanisms across the organization
- Report monthly on health and safety activities and performance, including OSHA recordkeeping
- Develop and implement health and safety strategies, action plans, and targets
- Produce and deliver safety presentations and proposals
- Maintain accurate records and follow organizational policies and procedures
- Interact and cooperate with members of the organization, suppliers, and clients
Responsibilities
- Set and achieve individual and team targets that contribute to overall team success
- Oversee the training and development of team members
- Delegate tasks within the team and ensure supervision, accountability, and review
- Set an example of commitment, safety awareness, work ethic, and personal character
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a safety manager or in a similar EHS leadership role
- OSHA 30-Hour (General Industry or Construction) required
- CSP, ASP, or CHST certification strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910 / 1926) and applicable Texas and local requirements
- Leadership and team-management capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled with EHS management tools/software and incident-reporting systems
- Ability to function in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and compliance
