Job Summary
This facility is climate-controlled, and training will be provided. In this position, you will perform electro-mechanical assembly of custom test fixtures and various types of test equipment. Duties include electrical wiring, cabling, and component installation while consistently meeting production, quality, and safety standards.
Pay
$20 per hour, B shift gets a 10% shift differential ($2) and C shift is topped up to 40 hours (34.5 hours worked), with OT pay on any hours worked over 34.5.
Shift
A shift: 5 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday (two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch)
B shift: 4 p.m. – 2:30 a.m., Monday – Thursday (two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch)
C shift: 5 a.m. – 5 p.m., Friday – Sunday (work 34.5 hours, get paid for 40 hours; three 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Duties
Perform electro-mechanical assembly of custom test fixtures and various styles of test equipment
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and customer specifications
Perform electrical wiring of test fixtures, rack-mount cabinets, and control panels
Maintain rigorous quality standards throughout all production phases to ensure components function consistently and correctly
Maintain production targets by adhering to established TAKT and cycle time requirements
Assemble, cable, and wire custom rack-mount cabinet test stands in a cleanroom environment
Install metal components for mechanical assembly
Duties of the position require periodic light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motions requiring manual dexterity and precise hand/eye coordination, sitting and or standing in confined workspaces, using tools and equipment, moving and handling materials, and stepping on the ladder constantly
Duties may include lifting/pushing objects up to 40lbs
Qualifications
Proficiency in electrical, electromechanical, and pneumatic systems preferred, but not required
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Understanding of various levels of assembly preferred, but not required
Basic computer skills and ability to use scanners
Ability to read and write English
Strong attention to detail
Experience using inspection guns for component contamination checks in a cleanroom environment preferred, but not required
Experience with electric pallet jacks (EPJs) or willingness to learn
Experience using torque drills and assembly tools for mechanical work preferred, but not required
Knowledge of fiber optics, PCB/circuit board assembly, or small-component assembly in a cleanroom environment preferred, but not required
