Forklift Operator
KP Staffing Duncanville is now hiring double reach scissor / counterbalance operators for a company that manufactures warehouse and distribution operations support services in Lancaster, TX!
Job Summary
The double reach scissor / counterbalance operator will safely operate material handling equipment to move, store, retrieve, and transport products throughout the warehouse and distribution center while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and production operations.
Pay
$16.81 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 7 a.m. – finish
Duties
-
Operate Double Reach, Scissor Lift, and Counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently

Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products
-
Transport inventory to designated storage locations and production areas
-
Pick, replenish, and relocate stock according to work orders and inventory requirements

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
-
Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movement
-
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure product accountability
-
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations
-
Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization activities
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Previous experience operating Double Reach, Scissor Lift, and Counterbalance forklifts required

Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification

Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments preferred

Ability to safely operate material handling equipment for extended periods
-
Basic computer and RF scanner experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing

Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures

Ability to safely perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift
