Job Summary
The logistics coordinator will support shipment coordination, order management, and communication across departments in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a vital part in maintaining accurate shipment data and assisting with transportation-related processes.
Pay
$24 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Duties
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate shipment movement
- Act as a liaison between account managers and carriers
- Enter and maintain shipment data within proprietary TMS software
- Assist with preparing transportation-related documentation for customers and carriers
- Communicate professionally and promptly with internal and external stakeholders
- Escalate service issues to senior team members or leadership when appropriate
- Support the development of efficient processes and organized workflows
- Learn and adhere to company policies, procedures, and service standards
Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or related fields preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment
