Job Summary
The maintenance parts planner will support maintenance activities by receiving, verifying, organizing, staging, and distributing maintenance parts, spare parts, consumables, tools, and related MRO items. This role will help maintain accurate inventory records, organized staging areas, and communication regarding part readiness, shortages, and delivery concerns.

$22 per hour

Duties
- Receive, verify, organize, stage, and distribute maintenance parts, spare parts, consumables, tools, and related MRO items supporting maintenance activities
- Review packing slips, purchase order information, part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and received materials to confirm maintenance parts match expected requirements
- Coordinate with warehouse operations, receiving, sourcing, and maintenance stakeholders to resolve receiving discrepancies, missing items, damaged parts, incorrect quantities, labeling concerns, or documentation gaps
- Organize received maintenance parts by work order, project, equipment area, shutdown activity, outage plan, or other assigned staging method
- Maintain clean, organized, and clearly labeled staging areas for planned maintenance work, project parts, critical spares, shutdown materials, and urgent repair items
- Communicate part readiness, staging status, shortages, substitutions, or delivery concerns to relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree, technical certification, maintenance-related training, supply chain training, industrial distribution coursework, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Three or more years of experience in maintenance parts, storeroom operations, MRO inventory, warehouse operations, material handling, industrial parts coordination, procurement support, or a similar manufacturing support role preferred
- Experience supporting maintenance, reliability, production equipment, plant shutdowns, scheduled outages, work orders, spare parts, or project material coordination in a manufacturing, heavy industrial, metals, pipe, tube, oil and gas, or similar environment preferred
- Experience receiving, identifying, organizing, staging, issuing, and distributing maintenance parts, spare parts, tools, consumables, repair materials, and related MRO items preferred
- Experience using ERP, inventory, purchasing, warehouse, or maintenance management systems required
- SAP, SAP Fiori, or computerized maintenance management system experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret part descriptions, purchase orders, packing slips, work orders, equipment information, bills of materials, part numbers, vendor documentation, and basic technical information required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate parts locations, staged materials, project kits, receiving records, and follow-up lists in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
