Job Summary

The Maintenance Warehouse Attendant will receive, unload, store, and track materials and parts in the storeroom while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory control processes. This role also assists with material handling, SAP transactions, and quality assurance activities to help ensure efficient warehouse operations.

$20.10 per hour

1st, 2nd, weekend

Duties

• Receive and unload materials or parts and store them in the storeroom
• Receive delivery documents in SAP throughout the plant
• Ensure deliveries to the storeroom have proper paperwork and reference a purchase order
• Reject deliveries without appropriate paperwork and inform the purchasing department immediately
• Maintain records of quantities, types, and dimensions of materials produced
• Maintain good housekeeping and keep the work area free of debris
• Assist in verifying loading and unloading of material for quality assurance
• Assist with inventory control for verification of counts and material
• Generate new stock and stock locations in SAP
• Coordinate with the procurement department and follow up on the material return process
• Maintain records of items sent out for repair and follow up with vendors until items are returned to the store
• Read pertinent emails addressed to the storeroom group and provide appropriate responses
• Ensure vendor invoices are processed in a timely manner and report issues to purchasing and affected departments
• Assist with monthly physical inventory counts
• Ensure inventory materials are stored in correct locations by conducting daily walkthroughs
• Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure materials are stored in designated areas

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience as a warehouse attendant
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and warehouse attendant duties
• Must be able to drive a forklift
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may require overtime
