KP Staffing is now hiring material handlers for a company that manufactures specialty tools/components in Parker County, TX!

Job Summary
The material handler will accurately pull and stage materials for work orders, maintain trace documentation, and support inventory and shipping functions in a manufacturing environment.

Pay
$17.50-$18.50 per hour

Shift
1st shift: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday – Friday
2nd shift: 11 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

Duties

• Load outgoing shipments of material accurately and safely
• Ensure all material is correctly labeled, packaged, and loaded on the correct freight carrier
• Conduct cycle counts of inventory, materials, and supplies in stock
• Post inventory totals to records manually and in computer systems
• Audit outbound shipments for customers to ensure compliance
• Analyze inventory discrepancies by researching variances and identifying root causes
• Track movements of inventory
• Pull and stage material required for work orders
• Record required trace documentation
• Work independently within established procedures associated with the job function

Qualifications

• 2 – 5 years of material handling / inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
• High school diploma or GED required
• Forklift experience required
• Basic computer skills (MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Previous experience working with cycle counting and inventory maintenance
• Knowledge of ERP / CRM systems
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
• Clean MVR
