KP Staffing is now hiring material handler for a company that manufactures commercial ASME water heaters in Fort Worth, TX!
Job Summary
The material handler will pull, issue, stock, and organize materials for job kits and production requirements while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting continuous production flow.
Pay
$18+ DOE per hour
Shift
1st shift: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday – Friday
Mandatory overtime and occasional weekends may be required
Duties
Pull materials for job kits and production requirements
Lead and organize material requisition pulling activities
Issue job kits and production materials accurately while tracking discrepancies
Stock and put away inventory while maintaining location accuracy
Manage Kanban replenishment to support continuous production flow
Execute ERP transactions for inventory tracking and material movement
Verify kit availability and proactively resolve material shortages
Provide cross-functional support within stockroom operations
Assist with inventory organization and maintain a clean, safe work area
Complete additional duties as assigned by the Stockroom Supervisor or Company Management
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
Experience pulling orders, stocking inventory, and material handling
Basic math and computer skills
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred
Ability to obtain forklift certification
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
Ability to understand and follow basic work instructions
Steel-toed boots required
Additional PPE provided by the company
