KP Staffing Hickory is now hiring material handlers for a company that specializes in reverse logistics in Lenoir, NC!
Job Summary
The material handler will support a fast-paced reverse logistics operation by handling incoming products, organizing and sorting inventory, and preparing items for resale. Team members help maintain efficient workflow, ensure product quality standards, and contribute to a streamlined, high-volume processing environment.
Pay
$17 per hour
Shift
7 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday – Friday (Saturday: 7am-12pm)
Duties

Receive, unload, and sort incoming products from various vendors

Inspect items for quality, condition, and resale eligibility

Organize inventory by category, condition, and priority

Prepare products for resale through labeling, packaging, or bundling

Maintain accurate counts and documentation of processed items

Operate warehouse equipment safely (such as pallet jacks or carts)

Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

Assist with meeting daily and weekly production goals

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain efficient workflow

Identify damaged or non-resellable items and follow proper disposal procedures
Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment

Strong attention to detail when sorting and inspecting products

Basic understanding of inventory handling or willingness to learn

Reliable attendance and the ability to lift and move items as needed
