Job Summary

The millwork assembler will assemble millwork products on an assembly line using repetitive production tasks under direct supervision. This entry-level role supports the production of door, window, and stair components while maintaining quality and productivity standards.

$16 – $17 per hour

Duties

• Organize door, window, and stair building supplies

• Assemble components under the direction of line leaders

• Maintain a neat and organized work area

• Assist with special projects as assigned

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• Entry-level position requiring experience in physical labor-type work

• Ability to use and read a measuring tape and framing square correctly

• Ability to read and evaluate work orders

• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to meet daily production goals

• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds from ground level to standing position and 20 pounds overhead

• Ability to pull up to 20 pounds from standing and kneeling positions at various heights

• Ability to stand and/or walk for 8–10-hour shifts

• Ability to frequently bend and stoop throughout the shift

• Ability to work in varying temperatures

• Ability to work in dusty and noisy environments while operating machines and tools

• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, eye protection, and steel-toed boots

• Ability to work overtime as needed
