Job Summary

The operations supervisor – 2nd shift will independently oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, support production, safety, quality, and team performance, and address operational and employee-related challenges. This role will coach employees, troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and drive accountability across the shift.

Pay

$80,000 – $90,000 per year

Shift

2nd shift: 3 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.

Duties

• Independently oversee daily 2nd shift manufacturing operations
• Lead and support employees to achieve production, safety, quality, and performance expectations
• Troubleshoot operational issues and work toward timely solutions
• Manage employee relations and workforce challenges during the shift
• Monitor operational performance and support achievement of key KPIs
• Promote a strong safety-first culture throughout the operation
• Support 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement efforts
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality, and overall operational performance
• Communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and other operational teams
• Help build and maintain a high-performing, professional, and collaborative work environment

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable for performance expectations

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong hands-on understanding of manufacturing and production operations
• Proven ability to independently manage a shift and make operational decisions
• Experience troubleshooting production or operational issues
• Strong employee management, coaching, and communication skills
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, and KPI-driven operations
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
• Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, accountability, and strong work ethic
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding operational environment
• Genuine interest in learning, developing, and growing with the organization
