Job Summary The paint shop material handler will maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished product. This role performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Pay $18+ per hour, DOE
Shift 3rd shift: 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. (days TBD)
Duties
Pull orders from inventory
Deliver production materials and supplies
Stage finished product
Count, weigh, or measure incoming and outgoing items against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
Examine incoming shipments for damage or shortages and coordinate with shipper or receiver to resolve issues
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies
Move stock and reorganize storage areas
Load or unload materials onto or off pallets
Assist with supplying products to the production line
Provide counter service and forklift service
Use computerized or automated systems to complete tasks
Maintain pick lists, shorts lists, and warehouse cleanliness
Monitor and audit inventory levels through cycle counts and bin locations
Process accurate paperwork
Complete pick lists and requisitions for goods
Ensure inventory accuracy on raw materials, parts inventory, work in progress, and warehouse items
Coordinate internal parts requests and deliver parts to customers or assigned areas on time
Process receiving tickets
Complete bills of lading and receiving documentation
Schedule trucks for shipping
Provide goods to production
Practice safe work procedures at all times
Complete safety pre-checks on mobile equipment
Support 5s and maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Assist with support for the production line
