Job Summary
The shipping and receiving inspector will inspect products for conformity to company and customer standards, complete inspection documentation, and support quality system requirements. This role also requires attention to detail, basic computer skills, and flexibility to work rotating schedules and overtime when needed.
Pay
$20 per hour
Shift
1st, 2nd, weekend
Duties
- Inspect products for conformity to company, API, and customer standards or specifications
- Mark products for identification
- Fill out the daily shipping and receiving inspection report
- Follow all instructions as delegated by the quality system
- Maintain current knowledge and understanding of all relevant SOPs
- Follow all PPE policies and safety rules
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Basic arithmetic skills in order to learn measurement requirements
- Attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work a flexible or rotating schedule which may require overtime when needed
