Job Summary
The upholstery trimmer will cut, trim, fit, and install upholstery materials while ensuring finished products meet established quality, appearance, and production standards.

$16 – $20 per hour DOE

Duties

Perform upholstery trimming and finishing operations on materials and components in accordance with established specifications, production standards, and quality requirements

Cut, trim, shape, and prepare upholstery materials to meet specified dimensions, patterns, and design requirements

Install and secure upholstery materials on products using appropriate hand tools, equipment, adhesives, and fastening methods

Inspect materials and completed work for defects, proper fit, alignment, appearance, and overall workmanship

Identify and correct issues such as uneven seams, wrinkles, excess material, improper fit, or other quality concerns

Follow work instructions, production schedules, safety procedures, and company quality standards to ensure consistent and efficient production

Maintain clean and organized work areas and properly care for tools, equipment, and materials

Communicate material, equipment, or production issues to supervisors and assist in resolving quality or manufacturing concerns
-
Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting established production requirements and deadlines
-
Perform other related duties as assigned
