Job Summary
The warehouse associate will perform a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and material handling. This role ensures customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Pay
$14.25 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 6 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
2nd shift: 2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
3rd shift: 10 p.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Duties
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using RF scanners or warehouse management systems
- Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, wrapping, and palletizing
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory audits
- Follow all safety policies and OSHA guidelines
- Keep work areas clean and organized using 5S standards
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance goals
- Report damaged products or equipment to supervisors
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- Experience using RF scanners is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed
