KP Staffing Hickory is now hiring a woodworking machine operator for a leading manufacturer that specializes in high-end furniture!

Job Summary
-
Set up and operate vertical and horizontal boring machines, band saws, chop saws, variety saws, overhead routers, shapers, and planers

Maintain at least 1 year of experience operating the listed machinery

Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance

Lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and standing throughout the workday

Read and understand English instructions and measure accurately using a tape measure
-
Be at least 18 years old to operate machinery

Work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
-
Complete required Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training or refresher
Shift
1st shift: 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday & Friday 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Pay
$17 per hour, DOE
Job Details

Must be able to stand, stoop, reach, grasp, sit or stand for long periods of time, and lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
